The Grants Advisory Commission is composed of seven members appointed by the Roseville City Council for overlapping four-year terms. All Commission members must reside in the City of Roseville and must be 18 years or older.
Additionally, the City Council appoints a high school student that is a resident of Roseville as a voting member of the Grants Advisory Commission. Youth members must be enrolled in high school during the entirety of their term.
The Commission meets the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm in the City Council Chambers, 311 Vernon Street. They oversee the competitive grant process and review grant applications annually for Citizens' Benefit Fund. The funding application generally opens in December, with the Commission's funding recommendations forwarded to the City Council for final approval in June. Fiscal year for funding is July 1st - June 30th.
