Art Contest

Join Our Library-Themed Art Challenge

Calling all artists, young and old! We are working on some new swag for this year's Summer Reading Program prizes, and we want the graphics to come from our own community. With that goal in mind, we are opening our first annual "National Library Week Art Contest". Submit your artwork by Friday May 1 to be entered into the contest.

What are you looking for?

The theme of the contest is  'Find Your Place at the Library'. We are looking for pieces that capture the essence of our Roseville libraries, whether you're inspired by the books, the buildings, the programs or the feelings that they provide you.

Who can participate?

Our contest is open to all ages and to everyone within our Roseville-area community.

How do I submit an entry?

Email a high quality photo or scan of your artwork to library@roseville.ca.us, with the subject line 'Check Out My Art!'. The file may be attached as a JPG, PNG, or PDF, and make sure your image quality is clear.

Here are a few additional rules regarding artwork submissions:

  • Designs must be the original work of the entrant.
  • Designs should be in color, and should also look good if printed in black and white
  • Artwork should not include any copied or copyrighted materials.
  • Artwork should be family friendly.
  • Limit two (2) entries per contestant.
***By entering our contest, the artist hereby authorizes the City of Roseville to use artist's image and the image of his/her items entered in the Roseville Public Library art contest for purposes of promoting and educating the public regarding the library's Summer Reading Program. Artist is responsible for all copyrights and trademarks pertaining to the entries and agrees to any reproductions used to educate and promote.

If you have any questions, please email us at library@roseville.ca.us. And remember to submit your artwork by Friday May 1!
