Roseville Electric Utility was recognized in March as being among the
safest community-owned utilities in the northwest. Roseville Electric
Utility was ranked 3rd behind Pend Oreille Public Utility District in Washington and Homer Electric Association in Alaska.

Michelle Bertolino. “Our low injury rate demonstrates our employees are
committed to working safely. Creating and maintaining a safe work
environment goes hand in hand with providing highly reliability energy.”
The Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA) ranked Roseville
Electric Utility third behind Pend Oreille Public Utility District in
Washington and Homer Electric Association in Alaska.
NWPPA
announced in April that Roseville Electric Utility’s injury rate in 2016
was 2.37. The measurement means there were 2.37 injuries for every 100
employees. Our injury rate is well below the American Public Power
Association’s national average of 4.75 per 100 employees for utilities
that participate in their survey.
