Roseville Electric Utility was recognized in March as being among the safest community-owned utilities in the northwest. Roseville Electric Utility was ranked 3rd behind Pend Oreille Public Utility District in Washington and Homer Electric Association in Alaska.

“Safety is paramount at Roseville Electric Utility,” said Utility Director Michelle Bertolino. “Our low injury rate demonstrates our employees are committed to working safely. Creating and maintaining a safe work environment goes hand in hand with providing highly reliability energy.”

The Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA) ranked Roseville Electric Utility third behind Pend Oreille Public Utility District in Washington and Homer Electric Association in Alaska.

NWPPA announced in April that Roseville Electric Utility’s injury rate in 2016 was 2.37. The measurement means there were 2.37 injuries for every 100 employees. Our injury rate is well below the American Public Power Association’s national average of 4.75 per 100 employees for utilities that participate in their survey.
