This work was funded by the Highway Users Tax, Senate Bill 1 Road Maintenance & Rehabilitation, and CalRecycle’s Rubberized Pavement Grant, totaling approximately $15.49 million. The project also diverted over 24,000 California waste tires from landfills through rubberized pavement use.
The City upgraded residential curb ramps to meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards, as required by law. These improvements were funded by the Highway Users Tax and the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Fund, totaling approximately $1.8 million across all phases.
