Enter our Teen Placer Poets Competition beginning February 5

Are you a teen that has a way with words? Enter our Placer Poets Competition!

Presented by the Roseville Public Library Teen Advisory Board, our new poetry contest is open to 9th-12th grade students in Placer County. To enter, write one original poem or prose on a theme of your choosing. Send in your submissions Monday, February 5 - Saturday, March 30.

Contest Rules:
-Must be a 9th-12th grade student within Placer County to enter (homeschool students welcome).
-Must be an original poem or prose (any theme/form acceptable).
-Must be a minimum of 5 lines and maximum of 40 lines.
-Must be unpublished and not plagiarized. 
-No explicit writing.
-Must be submitted in a Word Document via email with the subject line: "Teen Placer Poets Competition" by 11:59pm Saturday, March 30th to [email protected].
-On a new separate page of the same document, include your full name, phone number, email and high school, along with a 2-4 sentence biography.
