Stage 2 Construction: Spring - Fall 2018
Improvements include:
- Widening the bridge over Pleasant Grove Creek.
- Median construction and landscaping from Horncastle Avenue to Crimson Ridge Way.
- Final roadway resurfacing from just north of Pleasant Grove Boulevard to Crimson Ridge Way.
Typical working hours are Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Traffic lanes may be narrowed and delays are possible. Please travel with caution through the work zone and watch for crews directing traffic. Bicyclists may be required to share the road, or use sidewalks during construction. Monitor electronic message boards for traffic information.
Median trees are being protected to the greatest extent possible, and the project will result in a net increase of 22 trees throughout the corridor.
Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard widening will improve traffic flow by making the final connection between four-lane road segments to the north and south, as planned in the City Council-adopted Roadway Capital Improvement Program.
Please note: Construction schedules are subject to change due to equipment, materials, and weather conditions.

About the Project
The
City Council-adopted Roadway Capital Improvement Program calls for
Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard to have four lanes between Pleasant Grove
Boulevard and Blue Oaks Boulevard. This roadway was originally designed
and constructed with wide medians meant to accommodate future
widening. This project makes the final connection between four-lane road
segments to the north and south.
South of Crimson Ridge Way,
Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard currently has two travel lanes, bike lanes,
sidewalks, and a median designed to accommodate widening of the roadway
to four lanes. The project widens this segment of Woodcreek Oaks
Boulevard, from Crimson Ridge Way south to 600 feet north of Pleasant
Grove Boulevard,
into the center median. Also, the
bridge over the south branch of Pleasant Grove Creek is being widened to
accommodate the additional roadway. The medians will continue to
be landscaped and c
ompleted roadway improvements will result in a net increase of 22 trees along the Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard corridor.
