The future of Roseville Parks, Recreation & Libraries (PRL) starts with you!
Visit the project website to read updates and to provide any comments on park amenities, library and museums services, event, programs, cultural arts and recreation facilities that you want to see. Visit the project website.
All your input will be used to help us develop a strategic master plan for PRL that will serve as a roadmap of where we are heading and how to best serve the community for the next 10 to 15 years.
Share your feedback at the next
virtual community meeting:
Thursday, February 17
6:30 - 8 p.m.
Register
This is the second in a series of meetings and will include presentation of survey results and key findings from the community needs and parks/facilities assessment.
Some of the goals of this process are:
- Identifying gaps and needs for PRL services/amenities
- Outlining recreation and library programming trends for the future
- Reviewing access to current parks/facilities as well as future needs
- Determining “standards of service” for programs and facilities
- Developing a sports tourism plan
- Shaping financial sustainability
Your involvement is mission critical
In order to make this plan truly reflective of the community today, and the community we want to become, we need your input. In the coming months, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback through a combination of surveys and public meetings (both in person and virtually). We hope to be overwhelmed with information so that we can develop the best plan possible, and a plan reflective of our customers.
How we will achieve success with outside resources
PRL is partnering with PROS Consulting, Inc., a nationally recognized parks and recreation planning firm, to develop the plan. PROS is also employing several consultants to provide support on specific portions of the plan, including conducting public opinion polling and inventory/mapping of parks and facilities. PROS has also engaged JK Sweeney and Associates to focus on the library portion of the plan.
Your priorities are our priorities
While we have a great team in place, your involvement is essential. Your perspective will help us prioritize our reinvestment efforts, what new programs to offer, where are our gaps/needs and what level of service to provide in parks, open spaces, programs and facilities.
