Bringing public art into a community requires passion, a vision, and the determination to bring people together.
Beginning April 29, a talented group of artists will descend upon Downtown Roseville to create five vibrant murals along Vernon Street as part of
Blue Line Arts Roseville Mural Project. The goal of the project is to bring new public art of high artistic quality and enduring value to Roseville.

For more than 50 years, Blue Line Arts has worked to expand the artistic canvas of the city. For this program, the organization has paired five diverse artists with downtown property owners who have embraced the idea of “growth through art” by offering walls of their buildings to feature these murals
“We really want to create something with high artistic merit that provides more color and texture for people to interact with in this area,” said Blue Line Co-Director Brooke Abrames. “The selected works represent a wide range of styles from historic to contemporary.”
As the painting continues, Blue Line Arts will host artist panel discussions and a mural tour. The murals are scheduled to be completed by May 17, followed by a Mural Crawl/Wrap Party – part pub crawl, part art show – on May 18.
