To successfully complete your online payment for your library fines, please read these important tips first.

  • If your account is restricted or you need to renew your items, please call the library at 916-774-5221 during normal business hours to make a payment over the phone with a staff member and to have the restriction removed.
  • Online payments may take up to 2-3 business days to show on your library account.
  • At this time the system can only accept one payment per library account. If you need to make a payment on multiple accounts, you can process a single payment for each library card number online, or you can pay the full amount in person at any library location, or call the library during business hours.
  • We do not offer refunds. If there is a problem with your transaction, please contact the library and/or your bank immediately to void the transaction. We do not have staff available on Saturday’s to answer phone calls. If you have a problem and need immediate help, leave a message on the voicemail or visit one of our locations in person.
  • If you pay more than the amount owed, the balance will be credited to the library account.
  • If you make a partial payment, that amount will be applied to the oldest fines and fees.
  • Credit and debit cards with the Visa, MasterCard and Discover logos are the only form of acceptable payment online. To make a payment with cash or check, please visit one of our locations or you can mail a check to any of our locations, payable to The City of Roseville.
  • The library uses Virtual Merchant to process all online payments. This is not tied into your library account and there are no additional transaction fees.
  • Please print and save your receipt.
