While Roseville is a FEMA Class I community when it comes to flood preparedness, every year brings some risk of flooding. This flood risk can change over time because of weather patterns, changes to development, and other factors.
To ensure the public has the most reliable information, FEMA regularly maintains and updates data through flood maps and risk assessments. The City of Roseville, Placer County Flood Control District and Water Conservation, and FEMA work closely to produce preliminary flood maps for the region.
By using a flood map, you can see the relationship between your property and the areas with the highest risk of flooding.
Preliminary updated maps are now available and offer insights into current flood risk and how your risk may have changed. Once public input and analysis is finalized, updated maps will replace the current 2018 map versions.
