Call to Artists: Johnson Pool mural

Updated February 05, 2025
We are looking for an artist to design and paint a new mural at Johnson Pool—one that celebrates the city’s rich history with the railroad while embracing the spirit of community and recreation.

Johnson Pool, a beloved gathering place for families, swimmers and community members, is undergoing a transformation, and this mural will be a key part of enhancing the space. The selected design must feature a railroad or train theme and prominently incorporate the Union Pacific Railroad logo, connecting Roseville’s deep-rooted railroad heritage with the joy and inclusivity that Johnson Pool represents.
