Join us for
WɄTE·PAĪ PE’A WĔNĔ YO, a Nisenan celebration of native plants! This collaborative exhibit with the United Auburn Indian Community, Miridae Landscape Design, and the California Native Plant Society combines art and traditional knowledge to share the importance of native plants to local Indigenous cultures.
Come enjoy the exhibit’s opening night festivities at Night Out at the Museum on Saturday, October 15th! Listen to stories and songs from our exhibit partners, learn about the native plants in your own backyard, and enjoy delicious refreshments while socializing in the museum at night!
WɄTE·PAĪ PE’A WĔNĔ YO: First Talk to Flower can be viewed at the Maidu Museum from October 15th, 2022 through April 15th, 2023.
