Tracy was elected to a four-year term on the Roseville City Council, District 1 in November 2020. Tracy is the first new district councilmember elected after the city of Roseville switched to district-based elections from at large elections.
Attracted by the high quality of life, Tracy Mendonsa and his wife, Kristen, moved to Roseville in 2009. Together they are raising their twin daughters, Alex and Maddie, in District 1. Tracy has always looked for ways to get involved in the Roseville and Placer Community through civic and nonprofit service.
Tracy owns T-Bone’s BBQ, a local award-winning catering and competition BBQ company based in Roseville. As a local business owner, Tracy truly understands how to serve his community. From his commitment to supporting nonprofit organizations, such as RCSD Foundation, Tommy Apostolos Foundation, Placer Breast Cancer Foundation, Kids First, Boy Scouts, the Chamber of Commerce, and others, to his volunteer service on city boards and commissions. Serving on the Planning Commission for 4 years & previously on the Transportation Commission for 4 years, the Design Review Committee, and CPAC, Tracy has demonstrated his commitment for over a decade. Tracy currently sits on the board of the Roseville City School District Foundation (RCSD) and is a graduate of the Leadership Roseville program.
Tracy is also a member of the leadership team at ClearCaptions, LLC, overseeing all company investigations as the Sr. Manager of Regulatory Compliance & Investigations. Prior to his current investigative role, Tracy was called to action by the 9-11 attacks, leading him to serve our nation in a law enforcement capacity as a U.S. Special Agent. Tracy has completed extensive training as a graduate of the FEMA Emergency Management Institute and is a Certified Forensic Technician.
Tracy is an Eagle Scout, attended Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento and graduated from UOP with a BS Degree in Criminal Justice Administration.
When he’s not serving our community, Tracy enjoys running, barbecuing, and enjoying all that Placer County has to offer with his family and friends.
