At Roseville Electric Utility, your community-owned electric power
provider, we understand that our customers value renewable energy
options, like solar. We’ve helped thousands of our customers to go solar
already and we can help you too. There are many things to consider when
going solar, it’s a big investment and each project is unique so there
is no one right answer. We’re here for you with information and answers
to your solar questions, all designed to help you make the decision that
is best for you.
All customers desiring to install distributed generation (DG)
energy systems, like photovoltaic (PV), at their Roseville location must
apply for interconnection.
Business customer-generators may install systems designed to offset up
to 100% of the customer-generators last 12 months of metered energy
load, each meter is evaluated individually and may not be aggregated.
Under no circumstances may the DG system electric production exceed 100%
of the customer-generators historical metered load.
Businesses interested in building an energy system to sell energy to
Roseville Electric Utility, and not wanting to offset the electric load,
should contact the Roseville Electric Power Generation Group at
916-79-POWER.
