Updated May 15, 2017

The City of Roseville has been awarded an Excellence Award from the California Society Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) for the fiscal year 2012/13 annual budget document. This is the 10th consecutive year the City has won an award for its budget document from the CSMFO.

"The budget document is our financial roadmap each year. It is essential that is thorough, comprehensive and accessible for our use and allows the residents and businesses of Roseville to clearly and easily see how the City is using its money,” said Assistant City Manager and City Treasurer Russ Branson. “Our folks did a fantastic job again this year.”

The detailed judging criteria includes the organization, layout and ease of comprehension of various financial reports, financial schedules, budget detail pages and the use of graphics and charts.

The California Society Municipal Finance Officers promotes excellence in financial management through innovation, continuing education and the professional development with honesty, integrity and adherence to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
