This park was dedicated in 2014 and is a charming neighborhood park featuring a half basketball court, a school age playground area, a shaded picnic area, and multi-use field/open turf.
Location: Located in between the Wal-Mart and Sam's Club shopping center and an open space area. Hours: Park opens at sunrise and closes one hour after sunset Namesake: Gilbert A & Helen K. Duran- Gilbert served as a Roseville City School District school teacher, served on the Roseville City Council, RCSD board, and established an antipoverty program that spread to surrounding cities. Helen was a teacher for the Roseville City School District, a board member for RCSD, and created scholarship programs for high school students. Both Gilbert and Helen were passionate about programs benefitting youth in the community.
