Advancing Roseville's interests - locally, statewide, and nationally

The City of Roseville’s Government Relations team works collaboratively with internal departments, community stakeholders, and external partners to effectively represent the City’s interests at the federal, state, regional,
and local levels. Through advocacy, coalition-building, and public education, we aim to influence legislation
and policy decisions that align with the priorities of our community.

Our legislative advocacy efforts are rooted in the City Council's adopted priorities and guided by our comprehensive Legislative Platform, which serves as a roadmap for advancing initiatives that promote public safety, economic growth, environmental sustainability, and community well-being.

Law and Regulation Committee

The Law and Regulation Committee is an advisory body of the City Council, entrusted with the review and recommendation of legislative matters. This committee serves as a vital forum for introducing, discussing, and thoroughly analyzing proposed state and federal legislation, policies, and regulations that may impact City departments, our community, and the broader region.

By fostering informed discussions and providing strategic recommendations, the committee helps shape Roseville's legislative priorities and ensures that our City’s interests are effectively represented.
