Pedestrian curb ramps at several locations around
Roseville will be upgraded to increase accessibility and meet current
federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations.
Construction
will occur from late July through November. The City of Roseville is
federally required to make these updates in advance of street resurfacing in 2018.
During
the curb ramp construction there will be periodic traffic lane
closures, and pedestrian detours will be in place. Work hours are 7 a.m.
– 5 p.m. on weekdays. Construction at the intersection of Stanford
Ranch Road/Fairway Drive/Five Star Boulevard will occur overnight to
reduce traffic impacts.
This project is funded by $1.5 million in federal CMAQ, state gas tax, and local transportation funds.
