Caring for Roseville's floodplains

Updated February 18, 2025
With 75 miles of creeks running through our community, the City of Roseville regularly maintains our floodplains

If you see illegal dumping, vandalism, or other concerns, please report them using myRSVL. We will inspect the area and address issues as needed. Some natural occurrences, like downed trees, are often left undisturbed to support wildlife habitat, provided they don’t pose a significant safety or flood risk.

Roseville is an internationally recognized leader in flood preparation and prevention, and one of only two communities in the nation to hold a Class 1 rating from FEMA’s Community Rating System.
