A multi-use trail along Dry, Cirby, and Linda Creeks, from Riverside Avenue to Old Auburn Road

At the Wednesday, March 20 meeting, City Council voted to approve the Dry Creek Greenway East trail project. This approval included certification of the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and trail alignment for the Sunrise and Riverside Avenue areas, as shown in the maps below.

Next steps
1)  Final design
2)  Environmental permitting
3)  Right-of-way acquisition
4)  Obtain additional grant funding
5)  Phased trail construction, beginning in approximately 2022

No City General Fund or Measure B funds are used for trails. The Dry Creek Greenway East multi-use trail would be built in phases as grants and other competitive funding are obtained. This money can't be used for other services like public safety, parks, or libraries.
